High Efficient and Clean use of Biomass, Waste Fuels and Coal, for Thermal Applications with the XyloSteam Gasification Technology.
The XyloSteam Gasification Technology is used used for Steam Generation and other Thermal Applications, small and medium Industrial end users, ranging from 1 t/h of Steam to 30 t/h of Steam.
In comparison to conventional combustion system (Coal Boilers and Waste Fuel Boilers)., the XyloSteam Technology, based on Bubbling Fluidized Bed Reactor, has the possibility to use not only clean Biomass, but also fuels containing contaminants, like Coal and Waste Fuels (RDF) with high efficiency and with a low environmental impact.
The current Global environmental situation, and especially in China, requires that clean technologies like the XyloSteam Technology, could be implemented replacing existing traditional combustion systems.
China shall replace in the next years, around 200.000 t/h of steam generation capacity with clean technologies, equivalent to 50.000 installations.
The main aim of this R&D Project is the optimization of the Technology with different types of local Coals, Waste Fuels and Biomasses, taking especial attention on the emissions limits required to comply with the new Chinese Environmental Protection Law. The R&D tests could be performed in two different Gasification facilities in Spain, a 2MWth and a 5,5MWth Gasification Plants from CENDENE’s Collaborators. Tests shall be done also as demonstration runs for Potential Clients.
The XyloSteam Technology doesn’t require large investment costs, making it a very attractive and highly competitive solution for Steam Generation on industrial Plants.
