Granellization of used cooking oil
2017-02-24
The technology applied in the cooking oil granellization system is the insertion of a new tubing attached to the kitchen or the service area that directs the used cooking oil to a metal storage tank located in the basement of the buildings. Through an electric pump, the fluid is transferred to a second metal tank, located in the border of the wall with the external area. Special trucks, with flexible hoses, will pump the fluid into it, through a pump coupled in the vehicle itself. Thus, the pollutant will be transported to a beneficiation station. Industrial filters will remove impurities and waste from used cooking oil, while the fluid is directed to a storage tank, ready to be marketed as raw material for biodiesel manufacturing.
